Week 4 Class Outline


Days 1-2
Ø Once all speeches are complete we will vote for our candidate of choice
Ø Homework: Read chapter 6.  After reading answer the following questions – be ready to discuss on day 3
1.    How much work are the animals doing now compared to before?
2.    What is ironic about if the animals want to work on Sundays?
3.    Without whom would the windmill be impossible to build?
4.    Why does Napoleon decide to begin trading with neighboring farms? What is wrong with this? Why?
5.    Which commandment is now changed?
6.    How is the windmill destroyed? What does Napoleon say is the cause?
Ø Quiz on Friday

Day 3:
Ø Chapters 1-6 quiz
Ø Hand out and complete vocabulary for chapters 7 and 8
Ø When you have handed your work in you can start reading chapter 7 on your own
Ø I will hand out chapter questions for you to complete- if you do not finish in class this is homework
